Metallurgical coke, benzol and coal tar are produced at Koks PJSC – one of the cleanest coke plant in the world. An important competitive advantage of IMH coke products is the availability of high-quality raw material resources with low content of harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus.

The coal produced by IMH enterprises is processed at the Central Preparation Plant Berezovskaya, which supplies the concentrate to the Koks plant.

Coal tar is a black viscous liquid - mixture of more than 1000 aromatic compounds, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heterocyclic compounds. It is a product of coal carbonization with density of 1120-1250 kg/m3. It is used for production of creosote, benzol, toluene, naphthalene, coal oil, various tars of high-temperature pitch and calcined pitch coke.

Crude coal benzol is produced at the Koks plant. This is a liquid which is extracted from coke oven gas with washing oil. It is widely used in industry; in particular, being a raw material in the production of plastics, rubber and dyes. The main components of crude benzol are benzol and its homologues - toluene, dimethylbenzenes, trimethylbenzenes.

Metallurgical coke is used as fuel in blast furnaces to produce pig iron. High quality of raw materials and modern equipment allow to produce various grades of coke to satisfy all customer requirements.
