Land restoration in Kiselevsk

In 2020-2021, extensive restoration works were carried out at Severny Site No. 1 in Kiselevsk. On an overall area of 53 hectares, slopes and tiers were shaped, the effects of settlement were eliminated, erosion control measures were implemented, and 176,000 seedlings of coniferous and deciduous trees were planted.

The scarp slopes and tiers were shaped, the effects of site settlement were eliminated, erosion control measures were implemented, and a road was built. The biological reclamation phase of the Uchastok Koksovy open pit was carried out in 2021 in cooperation with the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Kuzbass Agricultural Academy" (Kemerovo).

These works create a healthy ecosystem: a fertile soil layer is restored and forest plantings are created. Over the 20 years of the company's operations, we have fully restored and handed over 133 hectares of land to Kiselevsk.
