Koks employees are the authors of a unique environmental development of ammonia removal process for coke gas using a circular phosphate method. It allowed not to use harmful sulphuric acid in the process and to increase efficiency of coke gas treatment. This technology was subsequently introduced at a number of other coke plants in the country.
