IMH's environmental policy is aimed at reducing environmental pollution and lowering the energy- and resource intensity per unit of production.
Our strategic objectives:
- Minimize environmental impact through compliance with legal requirements;

Reduce environmental risks and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements through the implementation and effective operation of an environmental management system in companies;

Develop and implement environmental protection programmes, including renovation of production assets, using energy- and resource-saving technologies;

Reduce pollutant emissions/discharges to air and water systems;

Increase proportion of by-products used in own production;

The holding company's enterprises are constantly upgrading and modernizing their production facilities using the best available technologies. This makes it possible to reduce the negative impact on the environment and improve working conditions.
In 2020, the Chief Ecologist's Office was formed at IMH. It consolidated operations of the relevant services at all enterprises of the company. The tasks of these services include control over compliance with environmental legislation and measures to reduce the negative impact on the environment, industrial environmental control and environmental safety training.
