Tikhova mine built noise protective screens at the Russian Railways Station
Tikhova mine (Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Kemerovo region) has completed the project of construction of the noise protective screens along the railway tracks at Proektnaya station of the West Siberian Railway. Screens construction will provide the required noise reduction and acoustic comfort for people living in near-by territory.
Completed noise protective screens were accepted by Russian Railways, JSC, and relevant state regulatory authorities. Investments in the project exceeded RUB 15 mln. The length of the screens is about 1 km. The screens were transferred into the ownership of Russian Railways, JSC.
Railway connection between Tikhova mine and Proektnaya station was opened in the summer of 2019. Commissioning of the railway infrastructure allowed reducing transportation costs, as well as eliminating dependence on third-party enterprises for coal shipment by rail.
