Management changes at Koks-Mining, IMH сoal division

Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), the world's largest exporter of merchant pig iron and the leading producer of merchant coke in Russia, announces management changes at Koks-Mining.

Victor Shevtsov has been appointed as Director General of Koks-Mining (IMH сoal division). Yuriy Gasanov moved to the position of Director of Legal Affairs and Corporate Management of Koks-Mining.

Mr. Shevtsov was born in 1956 in the Murmansk region. Graduate of Mining and Transport College, he served in military forces. In 1978 he earned his degree in “Mining and mine construction” at Donetsk Polytechnical Institute. Victor Shevtsov started his career as a shaft man at “Northern Kandysh” mine in Kaltan city, Kemerovo region. He worked in the administration of the Kemerovo region, and then for a long time, held several executive positions at some of the coal mines in the region.

Yuriy Gasanov was born in 1969 in the city of Kemerovo. After serving in the military forces, he graduated from Kemerovo State University, majoring in legal studies, and earned the lawyer qualification. Mr. Gasanov joined Industrial Metallurgical Holding in 2000 as the Head of the Legal Department of JSC KOKS coking plant. From 2003 until 2008, he served as the Director of Legal and Social Issues of JSC KOKS. In 2011 he was elected as Director General of Koks-Mining.

President-Chairman of the Board of IMH Evgeniy Zubitskiy commented: “First of all I would like to thank Mr. Gasanov for many years of his effective service at IMH. I have no doubt that Mr. Shevtsov’s broad experience in mining will allow him to achieve these goals in the nearest future”.
