Tulachermet (to be included in IMH) signed a contract with the Vyksa plant of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK) for the supply of pig iron. The agreement was signed by Evgeny Atukin, commercial director of Tulachermet, and Dmitry Denisov, logistics director of OMK's Vyksa plant.
The contract will be valid for 3 years. Under the contract, Tulachermet will supply at least 140,000 tons of pig iron annually to OMK's plant in Vyksa. Product price will be calculated according to a formula that includes the dynamics of world prices for pig iron.
"The volumes fixed in the contract with OMK exceed 5% of Tulachermet's annual production capacity. Conclusion of a long-term agreement will allow us to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with one of the leading steelmaking companies in Russia, as well as to plan blast furnace load more accurately" The contract will be valid for 3 years.
