Krontif-Centre (Sukreml Ironworks) is one of the leading national enterprises producing iron castings

The enterprise manufactures iron casting and steel casting products: grinding balls for mining and refining integrated plants, sewer manholes and various types of storm-water inlets, and a wide range of sanitary products.

The annual volume of production of cast products is more than 60 thousand tons.

Products of the plant are distributed throughout the Russian Federation.


Regular deliveries of products are made to all large cities of the European and Asian part of the country: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Vladikavkaz, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok. In addition, deliveries to CIS countries and Western Europe have been organised: Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, England, Germany, Finland and Serbia.

At present, cooperation with West European partners is rising to a new qualitative level: volumes of production of export products have reached 3,000 tons per year, and its range is continuously expanded with prevalence of more complex and fine casting. At present, manufacture of high-strength cast iron products has been implemented. The enterprise uses equipment manufactured by Omega (United Kingdom) and a Spectromax unit for express analysis of the chemical composition of metals.

The staff of Krontif-Centre is more than 1,000 employees. The enterprise carries out an active social policy for its employees: organises intraplant sport competitions, cultural event with the participation of talented employees, actively participates in all city festivities and Spartakiads. The sports club «Moguchiy» carries out its activities under the auspices of the plant.

The presence of ambitious goals as well as positions that have already been gained in the iron casting market enable the enterprise to be confident about the future and carry out persistent work aimed at further development of production.


Smirnov Mikhail Yuriyevich

Krontif-Centre Managing Director

Smirnov Mikhail Yuriyevich, Managing Director of Krontif-Centre, was born in 1966 in the city of Kirov of the Kaluga Region. In 1989, he graduated from N. E. Bauman Higher School with the specialty «hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and hydraulic drive». In 2004, after graduation from Moscow Mining University, he received a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree.

Mr. Smirnov started his professional career as a foreman at a mechanical processing section, and, after that, he worked as design engineer, deputy chief mechanic of Kirov Ironworks. From 2006 to 2013, he was the manager of Kirovskiy zavod. From 2013 through present, he is the managing director of Krontif-Centre.

02.04.2015 ZAO Krontif-Center enters new markets

ZAO Krontif-Center signed a contract with HWS (Germany) to supply an automatic molding machine FDNX1 in March 2015.
